THE MODERN LITTLE RED HEN

Once upon a time, there was a little red hen who scratched about the barnyard until she uncovered some grains of wheat. She called her neighbors and said, “If we plant this wheat, we shall have bread to eat. Who will help me plant it?”
“Not I,” said the cow.
“Not I,” said the duck.
“Not I,” said the pig.
“Not I,” said the goose.
“Then I will,” said the little red hen. And she did. The wheat grew tall and ripened into golden grain. “Who will help me reap my wheat?” asked the little red hen.
“Not I,” said the duck.
“Out of my classification,” said the pig.
“I’d lose my seniority,” said the cow.
“I’d lose my unemployment compensation,” said the goose.
“Then I will,” said the little red hen, and she did.
At last it came time to bake the bread. “Who will help me bake the bread?” asked the little red hen.
“That would be overtime for me,” said the cow.
“I’m a dropout and never learned how,” said the pig
“If I’m to be the only helper, that’s discrimination,” said the goose.
“Then I will,” said the little red hen.
She baked five loaves and held them up for her neighbors to see. They all wanted some, and in fact demanded a share. But the little red hen said, “No, I can eat the five loaves myself.”
“Excess profits!” cried the cow.
“Capitalist leech!” screamed the duck.
“I demand equal rights!” yelled the goose.
And the pig just grunted. And they painted “unfair” picket signs and marched round and round the little red hen, shouting obscenities.
When the government agent came, he said to the little red hen, “You must not be greedy.”
“But I earned the bread,” said the little red hen.
“Exactly,” said the agent. “That is the wonderful free enterprise system. Anyone in the barnyard can earn as much as he wants. But under our modern government regulations, the productive workers must divide their product with the idle.”
And they lived happily ever after, including the little red hen, who smiled and clucked, “I am grateful. I am grateful”
But her neighbors wondered why she never again baked any more bread.

CAREER OPPORTUNITY!

If you are presently out of work (and even if you or not you never now when that pink slip may pop up, afterall Obama hasn’t finished with us yet) may I suggest the position of a Democrat Stategist. As a Democrat Strategist you will be invited to appear on a variety of “news” programs to defend Obama’s failing policies. I must say, that is the challenging part of the job. The up side is the position requires no education or special skills, and based on what I have observed very little intelligence. In fact, the completely uninformed seemed to be highly in demand. Many of the Democrats Stategists I have heard speak appears to have the I.Q. of a small turnip. Here is what you will need to know. When the news correspondent ask a question, no matter what the question is, your response should be, “President Obama inherited ….To repeat, and this is very important, no matter what the question, your response should always be the same. No matter if the question is regarding the economy, the rising debt, the day of the week , or where did you buy your handsome tie, just smile and say “President Obama inherited…” That  is it. Learn that line and you will be well qualified and on your way as a Democrat Strategist. Best wishes in your new career!!!

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CLINTON SURPLUS?

Best answer: There never was one. I have heard Democrat strategists (that’s another story) repeat the fantasy of a Clinton surplus so many times I thought it was time to shed some light on the subject. The talking points go that George W Bush inherited a $300 billion surplus from Bill Clinton that he then proceded to squander. The facts are that during the 90′s the CBO (not to be confused with CP3O who is a fictional character from the movie Star Wars) projected a $300 billion dollar surplus on the assumption that if the then present rate of growth of the dot.com boom continued, incoming revenues would create a $300 billon dollar surplus over the next 10 years. However, the dot com era imploded and the surplus never materialized.

OBAMA’S JOB CZAR SHIPPING JOBS TO CHINA

Jeff Immelt, CEO of GE and Obama’s job czar who is supposed to be advising Obama on creating jobs for Americans is shipping jobs to China. (Perhaps to circumvent the restrictions of Obamacare and Obama’s constant flow of new anti-business regulations). Now he is in a joint venture with China to build planes which will compete with American jobs with Boeing. Even more insulting is that Immelt will give China technology developed by NASA and paid for by American tax dollars. Even high ranking Democrats are objecting and are demanding Jeff Immelt resigns as Obama’s job czar.

WHY OBAMA HAS FAILED

It’s very simple really. Nor he or any of his advisors have ever practical work experience. Obama has never run a business or met a payroll. To quote Herman Cain, “Obama couldn’t run one of my pizza joints”. Obama’s adviors are from academia, and as the adage goes “Those that can do, and those that can’t teach”. Their theories may sound reasonable on paper or in classroom but when tested in the real world they are exposed for what they are, just theories. Simply put, liberalism has failed everywhere it has been tried, now under the leadership of Obama it has failed here in the United States.

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. BORN 1776, DIED 2008

A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by dictatorship.

The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

From bondage to spirtual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage.

BARRACK OBUMER 2012-CHANGE YOU CAN STEP IN

Steve Wynn, casino owner and real estate developer said today he regrets voting for Obama. I understand his regrets, I just can’t imagine what he was thinking when he cast his vote.

The United States derives 45% of it’s power from coal, which Obama says causes asthma in children (it doesn’t), 20% of it’s power from nuclear which Obama opposes and he still refuses to uncap the oil rigs in the Gulf, even though China is drilling there. We are being ruled by an idiot.

Actor Nicolas Cage took a $9.5 million dollar (60%) loss on the sale of his Rhode Island home. Seems no one is safe from the Obumer economy.

Low income senior citizens are the latest group to receive a waiver from Obamacare which would have kicked them off their Medicare Advantage plans which would be disasterous for Obama’s chances to win re-election and of course we can’t have that. My question is, if Obamacare is so wonderful why are so many groups seeking waivers to opt out?

Remember that “investment” in GM (which was really just a bailout for the union that helped Obama get elected) which was suppose to be repaid to taxpayers with interest? Seems that Obama is suddenly in a hurry to sell those government owned shares at a loss of 11 billion dollars. Can’t say I’m surprised.

In a recent poll only 28% say they will definitely vote for Obama.

Obama said in his most recent speech, he believes the rich want to pay more in taxes, to which I asked then why don’t they. Anyone can send the government money. Futhermore, why do Democrats who say they are for higher taxes work so hard to avoid paying them? (For example:Tom Daschel, Charlie Rangel, John Kerry, Tim Geitner and I noticed Obama took full advantage of all his tax deductions, although his at least were legal).

THEN AND NOW: Senator Obama was opposed to raising the National debt ceiling but President Obama is for it. (yet another Obama flip flop. Perhaps at the next presidential debate Obama can debate himself).

Standard and Poor has downgraded America’s debt rating from standard to negative. Obama’s chickens are coming home to roost.

The GAO reports the U.S. paid our over $125 billion in improper payments in 2010. More government fraud and waste.

A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with bricks others have thrown at him.—David Brinkley

The Obamas were not invited to the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. I recall they were no invited to Chelea Clinton’s wedding either. What is it with these two that no one wants them at thier wedding?

Word on the street is that Oprah will not endorse Obama in 2012.

Democrat Representative Anthony Weiner wants a waiver from Obamacare for New York, although he doesn’t mind it being forced upon the rest of us.

Stephen Lerner, former SEIU official and frequent guest of the Obama White House was recently caught on tape with a detailed plan to destroy JP Morgad and crash the stock market.

A recent poll shows 10% believe the Obama economy is in excellent condition. I realize it’s only 10%, but still, how detached from reality do you have to be do believe the economy is in excellent condition?

I recently heard country singer Garth Brooks saying flattering things about Obama. I always thought there was something about hime that wasn’t quite right.

Senator Obama said a president does not have the authority to send the military into war without the approval of Congress, although that is exactly what he did in Libya. Another Obama flip flop.

Obambulate, from the Oxford English Dictionary, means to wander aimlessly.

On March 30th there was an op ed in the NY Times, praying Obama will get lucky. Considering how the NY Times feels about God, Christians and prayer, just shows how desperate they must be to resort to prayer.

CURRENT EVENTS

The liberal media is defending, even praising Obama’s decision to involve us in Libya. If it were George W Bush (or any other conservative) they would be crying about the innocents that will be killed and asking how can we afford it. In fact Obama himself would lead the charge.

Top Democrat strategist Doug Schoen says rising prices are putting Obama’s bid for re-election in peril. (Better put, Obama’s policies are affecting prices, putting Obama’s bid for re-election in peril).

Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich says Obama did not have approval of Congress and therefore Constitutional authority to involve us in Libya. (Dennis my naive friend, that ship has sailed. Since when does a minor detail like the Constitution concern Obama)?

Republicans proposed $61 billion in budget cuts. Obama has countered with $6 million saying he is meeting them halfway. In which universe is that halfway?

The Supermoon did not cause the mayhem on March 19th that some “experts” predicted. Guess we’ll have to wait till December 21, 2012 for the next set of calamaties that the “experts” have predicted. (Who are these experts, and since they are always wrong, what makes them experts)?

Obama is saying there is no inflation. I would like to know where he shops because at my neighborhood supermarket prices are soaring.

One of the 14 Wisconsin Democrats that self-exiled themselves to Ohio to avoid a vote is now submitting legislation to ban the practice in the future. (In my neck of the woods we call this, don’t do as I say).

The Somolian Pirates have reduced ransom demands on many boats in their inventory. They are simply running out of room. Think of it as a pre-summer sale.

Union protestors did $7.5 million dollars of damage to the Wisconsin State Capital Building. Compare that to the zero dollars of damage caused by the Tea Party protesters who also left the grounds free of liter.

CURRENT EVENTS

Obama could reverse the soaring gas prices immediately by removing the moratorium on drilling. While other countries continue to drill in the Gulf, our wells sit capped and idle. America has enough gas throughout the Country to last many years if only the anti-captilaist wackos will get out of the way.

We learned this week that Democrats hid over 100 billion of new spending in Obama’s health care bill. The precise number is $105,464,000,000.00. This must be what Nancy Pelosi had in mind when she said, “We will have to pass the bill to learn what’s in it”.

Liberal loon, Michael Moore said this week that it is a lie that the America and Wisconsin are broke, and the Country and State has plenty of money. Just for the record, America’s debt is currently over 14 trillion and Wisconsin has a shortfall of 3.6 billion.

Cruise lines are now avoiding Mazatlan, a usual port of call in Mexico, giving extreme violence as the reason. Smart move. Even smarter would be to avoid the entire Country of Mexico, which has become a war zone has various drug lords fight for turf.

Jimmy McMillan, who recently ran for Governor of New York on his The Rent Is Too Damn High Party, has switched to the Republican Party and is running for president. His new slogan is “The deficit is too damn high”. I must say he makes more sense than anything I’ve heard from Obama.

Only 68 schools have submitted applications to “win” Obama as a commencement speaker, down from over a 1000 last year, and had to extend the deadline to submit applications and activley solicit application to achieve the embarrassing low number of 68. Seems Obama has lost his mojo. Even the liberal government run schools have lost interest.

Supermarket shopping tip: Avoid anything with a cartoon on the box. You should know you’re being bamboozled when a food product needs a mascot.

Liberal publications are bleeding losses. Newsweek was sold for one dollar November 2010, less than the price of the magazine and sales havn’t exactly skyrocketted under the new management. The current issue has Hillary Clinton on the cover, I’m sure that will turn things around.

Major Obama flip flop. Obama now says Guantanomo Bay will not close, detainees will remain indefinitely and will be tried in military tribunals, not civilian courts. Precisely the polich for which he criticized President Bush.

The liberal New York Times, which normally goes out of its way to support Obama, said this week that Obamacare is causing insurance premiums to rise. Seems I recall Obama promising the health care bill would lower premiums and not add one thin dime to the deficit. Ooops!!

Republicans want to cut 61 billion out of the budget, but Democrats have only agreed to a paltry 4.7 billion. They just don’t get it.

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker says he will not grant the request of self exiled Democrat Senator Miller to “meet on the border and come alone”. I don’t blame him. I’ve seen enough gangster movies to know those sort of meetings don’t end well.

An intoxicated fire fighter in Loudon County VA took four of his associates on a joy ride on the fire engine almost hitting a police car. How could anyone find anything wrong with that?

Although the housing market is still sluggish, Obama wants to eliminate the interest deduction for homeowners. Either he is incredibly stupid (which I don’t believe) or he is deliberately destroying the economy.

To date, over 1000 special interest groups have bought off Obama/Democrats to receive waivers to exclude them from the punitive and stringent rules of Obamacare.

An Indianapolis school supertendent retired with $15 million dollar package after just 15 years with the school. The school now says they need more money. I’m sure they do.

Obama was recently basting in the glory of unemployment falling to a two year low. He somehow neglected to mention the fact that Republicans after winning the House twisted his arm to sign onto tax cuts, spurring growth in the private sector.
It is also worth mentioning that one reason the rate fell is because over 5 million Americans have given up looking for work and are no longer factored into the equation.

Gas prices are up over 85% since Obama became president. The good news is we can give Obama a big send off November 2012.

When George W Bush was president, the liberal media tried to persuade us we were in a recession when we wasn’t. Now that Obama is president, the liberal media tries to persuade us we are not in a recsssion when we are.

I recently learned the official name for Obamacare is The Affordable Healthcare Act. It sounds a bit more appealing when you put it that way, but a rose by any other name is still a rose, and a thorn by any other name will still stick you.

They have become as rare as Bigfoot sightings, but I saw two Obama bumper stickers last week. I feel like I should be scheduled to do an interview on tv.

WEEK IN REVIEW

Iranian warships are passing through the Suez Canal. This hasn’t happened since Jimmy Carter was president, who like Obama was perceived as weak.

Some doctors have been caught on tape, working the streets giving “sick” passes to protesting teachers. Besides being unethical, in my unprofessional opinion it appears illegal.

Regarding the protesting teachers in Wisconsin: if they showed this much enthusiasm in the classroom, perhaps the students would test a tad better.

To further cut the debt, Republicans plan to take away funding for Obama’s teleprompter. When Obama learns of this, he will be speechless. (That was a joke).

The governor of Alaska says he will not implement Obama’s healthcare bill unless ordered to by the courts. 26 other states have pending lawsuits opposing the plan. South Carolina governor says her state simply can not afford the financial burden it requires the states to pay.

Government workers make far more in every category than workers in the private sector, including hourly wages, medical benefits, sick days, vacation days, holidays and pensions. All paid by taypayers who don’t have the perks they are paying for government employees and yet they and the unions refuse to give up anything even though the goverment is broke.

The tv show Glee has beaten Elvis for the number of hits on Billboard. Elvis could not be reached for comment.

Thursday, Feb 24 2011 was the 2nd anniversary of Obama’s “shovel ready” stimulus bill. Unemployment is higher now than when it passed.

Obama says he wants to see one million electric cars on the road by 2015. He may be disappointed. The demand just isn’t there, even with the government, aka taxpayers offering a $7,500 credit, which some democrats want to increase to $15,000.

Obama wants to “invest” (spend) $53 billion on a high speed rail. Considering the financial failure that Amtrac has been which is still bleeding money, how could anyone even suggest such a thing? Answer: payback to unions.
